About Cameron

Cameron brings it all to the table. He codes, he builds database driven applications, he designs, handles multiple programming languages, and builds large-scale web applications. He’s able to bring incredible artistic creativity as well as a high level of technical knowledge to site architecture and database driven websites. Given his mix of academic and professional experience in technology and computer science (he graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Political Science and has spent 10 years in “the Industry”), Cameron is fully qualified to navigate the constant challenges of the web business. In 2005, Cameron produced Unpartisan, which marries his love of computer science with his love of political science. And after 5 long years of contract gigs, Cameron came onboard at Pelago in 2006. He’s home now.

Outside working hours, you’ll find Cameron in the garage trying to reverse-engineer microbrews with his homebrew kit. Although his strawberry blonde fell a tragic casualty to a miscalculation in the fermentation process, his barleywine-style ale, due out in 2014, is being described as “Mother’s Milk.” He’s also rumored to be a fine carpenter, able to build a nice comfortable Chinchilla abode in just a few hours.

Pelago Values

Pelago is a small business with a strong work ethic that values its people. We work extremely hard, but we have our values in the right place. Our work culture puts people and families first. Pelago is a place where innovation, creativity and fun can’t tell each other apart, where people care about the work they do and the impact it has on society, the environment and the communities where they live. Our days fly by and we are constantly amazed how few hours there are in the day. At Pelago, everyone participates in the business.
