Microsoft Silverlight

Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform plug-in for delivering the next generation of Microsoft .NETbased media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.

My question is, will adoption occur like past products Microsoft has released? (Netscape to IE, Wordperfect to MS Office etc.) Only time will tell…

    No – because I think people have finally realized Microsoft can’t be trusted with anything “cross platform”. They will always do _something_ to steer people to _their_ platform.
